As you can tell the difference between plastic and clay poker chips?
I bought a set of very old poker chips, and I think they are clay, but I do not know for sure. I'm pretty sure they are not plastic, if I come to the edge of a chip before shaving it as a powder. The color seems all way to go through. Any sure way to tell? Some of these chips will be chipped, again, not like plastic. They have a rather dull sound when fipped on a hard surface. I bought a set of 80 at the flea market, 40 white, 20 blue and 20 red. They had a zip lock baggie in a box of junk. Costs $ 1. It is a fancy design on both Pages. Not shave on them more. They are valuable. My father is the collection of half a million worth. Leave them alone until you know what you have. There are Poker Chip conventions routinely.
