How can I avoid gettin hit by SUCKOUT in online poker tournaments?
I only see the flop about 20-30% of the time dont call unless i hav the Pot Odds dont bluff much times a loser and a winner bet in principle. I only lose if I have all my chips in with the best hand, and some lucky punk hits a 3 outer. should I play higher stakes (to improve the competitive players who wouldnt Call 3 outers?) or just keep playing the same and put them on a bad run. I play Internet 5 $ or £ 10 tournaments and won several multi-table (300 + player) tournaments. been playin about 3 years. Thanks
Higher stakes will definitely sort out many of those calling stations that seem to always hit in the flow. Of course, happiness is one of the 3 buttons at poker, so surely someone will suck to see you again – at any level. Play at the stake you are comfortable with, and accept that there is definitely a part of the game. BTW, it helps me to the whole picture and not just how many outs ended with the guy look. They are sometimes called on favorable terms, sometimes I put a weaker hand, to give them – In this case, can not really complain that they cried, and then sucked it? Also, you are always in all your chips and then getting such a way that tells us a few things eliminated. 1) The caller is rarely completely incompetent, because he wanted to build a larger chip stack to be able to remove you (I say rarely is not never) 2) should expect more free calls if someone the opportunity to remove a small stack. It seems like you have a sound game plan as a whole, and you have won some tournaments, so do not worry too much.
