How can I get my husband to do things with me?
8 yrs married,.My husband and don’t have the same things in common. He stays home and likes to play on line poker, chess, scrable. And i would rather go to craft fairs,go places,do reenactments. Most of these things i like to do cost some money.im on diabilty i cant work.My husband works 49 hours a week on average.he tells me he is not a machine when he’s driving the car to go some place with me because he works nights and long hours.Hes tired.when he gets up in the mourning on his days off as the first thing he does is turn the computer on and plays scrable.I feel like he’s taking me for granted and ignoring me.what do i do find new freinds and go places?By the way I don’t have a lisense to drive that makes it hard.Or stay home all the time and put up with it?I have been doing this for 8 yrs not enjoying life because we are low on cash. And he cant think of anything new to do with me.Its always go to the book store the same thing again and again.
Well, the obvious question here is why don’t you get a license to drive? I will have to say that my two husbands wouldn’t be interested in going to any craft or other fairs. I think you need friends to attend those type of things with. I have always thought the church was a wonderful place to meet people that have similar interests as you have. It does seem like your husband works long hours so I think it is your responsibility to entertain yourself most of the time mostly because you don’t work, have extra energy because you don’t work and you are the one that needs friends and new entertainment. Even getting yourself a part-time job.
