Bad for Poker Runs!

Bad passes Hold Em!

You see dips in baseball. A man is hit well for a few games and then, suddenly, he can not hit to save his life. He is on a losing streak.

The same can happen with your poker game. You feel you are playing the same game and play well, but with poor results. They can not figure it out. For me a bad run can constitute processing out of the money at 2-5 just sit n gos. For other players, there may be other criteria. Everyone has their own definition of "running bad".

Remember everyone is going badly and happiness in their lives have poker. The key is how you handle it when it happens. They go on tilt? You keep betting more to try to and even? Keep your head and realize that these things happen, bad beats, etc. and just keep playing solid poker and it will turn around.

You need to to take a look at your entire game. An honest look if you think you are going really bad. It could lose only a few meetings and not a long-term Thing. If that's the case, then your game is ok, if you lose consistently over a long period of time, then it is probably more leaks in your game.

Most average players when they have performed badly and lose a few sessions, panic. Go to "tilt" and try to do what they able to get back to even. Change its basic style, wild bet, play hands they should not, etc. It creates a self-fulfilling prophecy, because they are poorly run and they go badly, lose because they lose.

The very good players will be a step back and look at their game. Look at the Way they played some of their hands. They will be honest and say I played it right it's just a bad beat was, or they will say what it was!

Bad Beats happen every day, and many times a day if you play a lot. Flush beat obtained by full houses to get beat 2 pair of trips do not hold aces, etc. If this happens, and it really starts to irritate you, then fold the cards, cash in and leave for another day. Cool off and go play golf and really irritated.

The last to think of it, trying to recover from a bad run. Do not make the mistake that many average and below average players move to make, not in stages try to get your money back. If you move, the competition is getting tougher in the rule making it more difficult to win, and They risk everything to try and even out of your money quickly. If the slower and safer method and down in levels, less competition, less risk your money, and it's free much less to your bad run over and get your game straight.

Good Luck at the tables,

Scott
