Laser engraving …..?
OK, someone can answer this in DyI perhaps. Laser engraving – you can not put pressure on a good deal? right? Plastic, metal, etc. .. When I was looking up some custom coins. Instead of paying a lot. I always thought of some empty poker chips or some snails Metal. then with a laser engraver has just my graphics on them. Do you think this can be done? Where to coins, metal slug? Thanks
It definitely did can be. You would probably want only the coins cut from sheet metal, having been engraved instead of trying a few individual pre-cut loose coins to engrave. It is hard to say what it might, without knowing it would cost, what to do quantity that you are missing, but a rough estimate of the engraving and laser cutting would be about a 1 inch diameter "coin" of acrylic about $ 1.50 plus the cost of the material. It is a setup fee and minimum quantities and such. These costs are based on $ 1 per square inch for etching and $ 0.15 per linear inch to cut.
