Should I have called an all-in bet with a pair of 10's?
This is a question about Texas Hold'em poker. Ten-handed table with blinds 200/100 and 25 ante. I was in the big blind with 10-10. Everyone folds to the button that raised approximately 800th The small blind calls. I guess the key is probably trying to steal, so I to name. There are now 3050 in the pot. The flop comes 3s-9c-4s. The small blind checks to me. Since I have a pair higher than the board, have a backdoor flush and I think the key could his bluff, I bet the 1700 (slightly more than half of the pot). The button calls and the small blind bets 9,000 all-in, which is about half of my remaining Stack. So I'm getting 2-1 odds with a pair of tens against an all-in and share with one person behind me. NOW – * I * think it obvious what to do here is to fold. However, my computer (yes, that was a computer game) says I should call, and I read some advice from a championship over a very similar situation, and He also recommended calling. Opinions?
