Poker rules? All in and help bets?
Could someone please help with this urgently. In Texas Hold Em (no limit) exactly what the rules for someone an all in and meeting the minimum bet. That is, if the blinds are 100/200 and say a person is in all of 250 chips, the next person must place 400 pot Chips in the (to name the 250 and complete the minimum raise) and then everyone else has called the play to 400 atleast. If no one calls this the player in the 400 can be placed back 150th I found these rules and on the Internet it's like I my tournament operator, but one player is now dispute this and would so quickly as possible to fix this. People could answer could you please let me know if you know them and what have poker background. I would be very grateful for any help. Thanks in advance
They are to play properly. If there is only one caller, then the call is made at all in the crowd. If there is more than one caller, the Amount equal to the big blind and a side pot with surcharges of $ 150 x number of calls made. All in players can not only win the main pot the side pot. For a home poker tournament, you should keep handy a set of rules. Here is a link to a free and a pretty good site for home poker tournament info. http://www.homepokertourney.com/rules_booklet.htm Good luck and have fun!
