What is a good strategy to use when you get down to 3 players in poker, the blinds are you?
We play holdem and I am ver conservative in begging for very small hands. I will like to play J9 off suit in late position worst kind of conservative. I need a strategy for when it is up to three (and I will usually be the short stack, but have enough to double or twice, and the chip leader). Thoughts?
In the early game with a full table, with conservative pays. In the late game to be aggressive pays off. Basically, you have to play the hand you were not in the early Game dream. Steal blinds as much as possible, otherwise you will lose attrition, a war of conservative, if you're playing. As always, however, you have to adjust your strategy away from the other players based at the table. When you play against other players to increase conservative, as many times as possible before the blind (only the minimum amount) to steal as many as You can get. If you like playing against aggressive players, they re-raise, when the big blind, they are to be deterred.
