What you need to make the ultimate meeting place for the basement?
We have a horrible basement. Boring. No carpets. We get a lot of water. The walls are made of cement, the floors too. The ceiling has the stupid pink fluff and lots of wood bars. We are ugly, long hanging light bulbs. It's terrible. We have currently writing a nice pool table, a pretty lousy dart board, a beautiful wall hanging case for darts and chalk for nicks on the inside of the case. We have a nice table football. I want some new pool que sticks. Maybe a poker table (all ways to get a VERY nice inexpensibly?) And some poker chips. Please help me, we have pretty much leeway to make this dark, cold, damp basement into a beautiful, happy meeting place. What can I at this venue make an awesome? How about the gaming aspect of it? As we have a pool table and table football. Ideas such as poker tables, slot machines, etc. PS. Is there a Simple / Cheap To find an antique popcorn machine?
Hire a contractor (or do it yourself) to the walls and ceiling with drywall. Seal it first with a water seal. Paint a beautiful color khaki. Seal the floors with water seal and then install carpet (carpet tiles are cool and easy to install) or some other type of flooring. Then decorate with the game tables, a sofa and a television.
