Me and some friends to play Texas Holdem Poker.?
What should we be blind? We play with 40 chips and we usually have a blind at 2, but if someone starts we raise it to 6 then 8 then 10 This seems too much with only 5 people play with 40 chips. Chips are all in the same value for us as well. What should our blind start and how should we collect, how the game goes on. Numbers please.
Are you with a "Big Blind" and a "small blind"? It is difficult to tell from the question. If not, you should unless you use it more than ante that pays per each hand. We run a monthly tournament in my neighborhood, in the Average about 30 people. Everyone starts with $ 200 in chips (variation in denominations of $ 1 to $ 25). We start with blinds at $ 2 and $ 1 Big Blind Small Blind. In the spirit of keeping the it "friendly", we keep the blinds at $ 2 and $ 1 for the first hour. Then we double the blinds every 30 minutes. If you do not, 30-man tournament can run for 6 to 8 hours! With 5 guys and each starting with $ 40 in chips, starting off with a $ 2 big blind $ 1 & Small Blind is pretty much as low as you embark on your bank statement that can be based "all chips are worth the same amount …" Try either adding more chips or chip values varies based on the number of different colored chips you get your hands.
