Poker Hand Odds help?
Hi I have always said that to find the flop odds of hitting a hand, you sometimes have to u the card 4 from the and by 2 on the turn – and this shows u the odds of hitting. – I was with this hand where I thought I would have 56% chance of winning on the flop I had Jc 10c – flop was 9s 8c 6c – I'm winning every 7 or Q wud – and every club, not the 7 or Q Club – so thats 14 outs x 4 = 56 or 56% – I was against a sentence in the hand, but wen i found online on a website it gave me 36% to win – I do not see how this works Thank you! Can someone help me W117?
The rule of two and four well- works to give you an idea of the strength of your hand. You can even consider whether to draw a hand to the right odds. But the odds are only opportunities for the target hand. In your example you had nine outs to the flush, and each queen or seven do to make your straight. Of course, you have two of the outs in the nine flush count outs. So this gives you 9 +6 = 15 outs. They are to catch so 60% is a straight or flush on the River. The exact number is closer to 54.1%. But the rule of four is a fairly good approximation. So why the difference in the rate? Well, usually 2 or 4 does not consider the possession of the enemy. Because at the time you have to calculate has for you do not know for sure he had a row. So let's say he has a number of the eighth. While 15 of the remaining 47 unseen cards help you help for the same reason 32 of the remaining cards from him. So as long as you miss her 15 outs on the turn and river, he wins. He has the best hand and he moves well, which would kill your straight or flush, even if you take. See you all counted flush cards and all the queens and sevens as outs. But they are not your outs. If there are two queens or two seven, they'll fake your hand because your house just now hit its full. Even if he starts, nine or six, are on the turn and river the same, it improves a boat. If he does, he meets an eight quads. So your opponent has already hit you, but in addition to that, he outs is to improve all kinds of hand. On the flop he is 6 looking for an 8, 9, or. So that is eight outs to improve his hand. He has a 16% chance to improve on the turn. Suppose, in turn, a 2, which is a blank for you. But since he can make this pair on his boat, he now has three more outs. This's 11 outs on the river, he has improved to 22% on the River. But the bad news for you is that he does not improve to beat you, hold your hand just need. So if you run simulator this scenario by one and you give it to both the hand you hold and that he kept the computer out of thousands upon thousands of simulations, possibly happen on the turn and river. One of four things happen. They improve, and he does not. to improve, but he does. You miss, and he does not improve. Or you are missing, and he improved anyway. By running computer simulations Hold'em calculator can figure gain on average, how often and how often he wins. And concluded on this basis, that you were to win 36%. Because as I said earlier, you are currently behind in the hand, and you must catch one of the 15 cards of the Invisible 47 improved. And even then, if it also improves you are screwed. Therefore, the rule is helpful of 2 and 4, but you have to take into account in the possible involvement of the enemy, and do not go to give full steam through the mathematics to false hopes.
