In Omaha poker, how does a flush beat a ten high flush ace high on a side pot ?…?
I'm not really on the side bets with Omaha and I do not think it was a low pot stands. Player 1 has 2c, 7c, 4d, Jd. I Ac, Kc, 10s, 7d. River is 10c, 5c, 5h, 4c. Player 1 wins side pot Century Hi-2 with a flush, Ten high-Player 3 wins Hi-Side Pot 1 with four of a kind (I want) Player 3 wins-1 Hi main pot with four of a kind. Player 2 (me) a flush, Ace high. (Loss) It is not bad eggs I'm trying to understand it. If no player won a pot, the low hand, as the lower? It is poker stars play I doubt very much, and they have Made mistakes, so that leaves me as a numpty so someone can explain how they won please? I'm just learning. Everyone was all-in, if that makes a difference?
If everyone was all, My guess is that you have a lot of chips, which is greater than the person who had had four of a kind, but less than the person with ten high flush. The person with four of a kind won the main pot, you won the first side pot and the person with the ten high flush won the last side pot, which may have had more chips won than you. For example, you have 1000 chips Player 3 (Mr. 4 of a kind) has 1000 chips player 1 (Mr. Ten flush) has 2000 chips Player 4 (unnamed person) has 2000 chips and a crappy Hand Player 3 wins 4000 chips (the main pot = 4 x 1000 chips) to win the pot (which has one player 3) zero from the main road covered Player 1 wins 2,000 chips (2 x 1000 Chips) to win is low, you must have an 8 or better with no pairs.
