Hello. I wonder if two people have the same two pairs, such as … both persons 3s a pair of 2s and the next thing to assess, to, is the kicker (5th card) right? Yup it's the best 5 cards from the seven. So if you both have the same two pairs, then the 5th Card comes into play. For example, you can say J 2 and the other player has Q-2, and the board is 2-3-3-6-4. Then you would have both twos and threes, but the queen kicker plays the better hand. Now you can say the same again hands, but the board reads 2-3-3 to 6-A. Then there is a split pot, because you both twos and threes, but this time you have the ace on the board to share as a kicker, so the Queen sockets and not in your hands to play.
