Harrah's New Orleans: What are the limits of the poker tables?
I'm more interested in Limit Texas Hold 'em, and how does everyone feel the poker room itself, the traders, the drinks and so on? THANK YOU!
The limit games where the range of 1-4-8-8, the big game is from 15-30. The action here is superb and the room is very beautiful, if sometimes noisy and crowded when the "Parade" rolls through. The dealers switch between two decks and a shuffle machine, so that the number of hands you'll see an hour, have risen (in theory). They offer bad beat jackpots at each Game which they distributed, but rarely more than the jackpot 20k or so. The dealers are slow down there, and tend to the locals it seems at times to favor. This is part of the reason I stay away from there, as I sometimes feel my tips are not as highly valued as the everyday player. Rarely have I heard many of them thank you. I would recommend that if you plan to play down there to get there early, how long to get the lists relatively late in the evening. It is no "last call" for alcohol, but good luck with keeping a drink at the ready, as they have room only 1 or 2 Cocktail Server table to the 20 something. Hope this helps … PS 1-4-8-8 unstructured limit, 3-6 structured limit, 4-8 structured limit, 10-20 structured limit, 15-30 structured limit. 1-2 no limit, 2-5 no limits, and sometimes a 5-10 or even put a 10-20 limit. If you are interested to have the No-Limit no rake, but a $ 6 per player per half hour taken the charge, whether you're sitting or not. Shorthanded No Limit games have no reduction is not the charge. This is the other reason I stay away from there. Good luck ….
