There are several tournaments in Kansas City scheduled every year at Club Sparks in downtown Kansas City. You can in a Texas Hold'em tournament every Thursday to attend this club or you can see the Kansas Texas Hold'em tournament that takes place in the Midwest Club beginning on the first Sunday in June. You have the tournament early, give to reserve a place and there are large cash prizes.
AIDS Walk
The second weekend of June is the annual AIDS walk. This walk is taken every year for 15 years and raises money for AIDS awareness and a cure. It is held at Theis Park and is open to the public. It will be an admission fee for the walk and all proceeds to charity.
Rockabilly Festival
Visit Theis Park for the annual Rockabilly Festival, that the second weekend in July will take place. Rockabilly is one of the earliest forms of rock and Roll. New Actor to play this style of '50s music at the festival and are often joined by some of the most famous. The festival also offers food and there is non-stop entertainment during the weekend. There is a $ 5 fee for participation in the Rockabilly Festival.
Independence Day Celebration
On the fourth of July, the family meet to Kansas City Downtown for the parade and fireworks. The parade begins at City Hall and begin at noon. Festival includes a carnival, vendors, artisans and an outdoor fireworks after dark. This is a fun event for the whole family.
Polski Day
This annual Event at All Saints Church and is a Polish Festival. You may, during the last weekend in July to visit food, crafts and traditional Polish Music and entertainment. This event is a tribute to all the Polish immigrants, which include Kansas City and is fun for all nationalities.

Christmas Festival
Visit downtown Kansas City for its annual Christmas parade, tree Lighting ceremony and celebration that begins on the Friday after Thanksgiving and continue for the weekend. Look forward to meeting Santa, entertainment, games, food and crafts as well as a Light Parade. The annual tree lighting ceremony will begin the season in downtown Kansas City every year.
