Gambling, if your a cop?
OK, I am a criminal justice major hope, become a policeman. I have a question about gambling and affect whether they can ever made. I play poker (Texas Hold'em) fairly frequently, and occasionally play tournaments with cash prizes. Gambling viewed might be, it might hurt my chances hired as a police officer? I do not have a problem with gambling, yes, I play mostly so for fun, but I know to make money. Once I am employed as a police officer, can I still play tournaments this money in my free time? I am ready to stop the money, games but I would not stop altogether. I like that I supplement my income with poker winnings.
It is not to play against the law. It is not against the law to drink and drive. It is against the law to drink and drive over a certain level. When you say you do not have a problem and really believe it I do not see why would you change about your hobby, to meet your career.
